[BEST] 엔슬림에 감사한 마음을 담아 (영어후기)

본문

By this time, you’ve probably read hundreds of reviews and pictures of before and after to decide whether you should get the surgery and whether you should get it at N-Slim. And you probably have high expectations, just like I did, which is probably why on my first visit, I felt the reviews were exaggerating. But like most things in life, good things come with time. The more you get to know them, they become the best friend you can talk to about anything.

After three surgeries, for all of which I paid, and a generous after-surgery care (caboxy etc), I truly can say without any doubt that the staff at this hospital maybe one of the most genuine and caring people I’ve met. That Doctor Yang is also competent and caring goes without saying. I believe the doctors attitude truly sets the tone for the staff. I cannot say enough how nice, caring, helpful, and professional they are.

I had arm, thigh, and love handle surgeries. I wasnt fat to begin with but always had bulky arm complex, gained my love handles during my law school years and couldnt lose them for the life of me, and as for my thighs, I got greedy.

Before and After the Surgery

Doctor Yang thoroughly examines you and tells you how he is going to proceed. He tells you his assessment of your fat distribution, how much he expects to take out, and what to expect after the surgery. Even though hes extremely busy with many surgeries, he will find the time to talk to you and answer your question. If you can reach him, the staff will take your questions and try to get an answer from him.

My surgery was on Friday. On the day of the surgery, hell explain the procedure once more and calm your fears and panic. Hes realistic and practical about the expectations; he wont make lavish statements about how youll come out looking like Kristen Stewart or Angelina Jolie. He will emphasize the importance of diet and exercise. This doesnt mean that you are not getting results. YOU WILL GET THE RESULTS. I’ve got the pictures to prove it. But to maintain them is YOUR, the patients, responsibility. I learned this the hard way which I will explain a bit later.

After the surgery, you will be bruised and bloated but they will go away in about 3-4 weeks, not more or less than what the doctor said. Follow the doctor’s instructions, drink lots of water, move around a lot, and rest. I was back to work on Monday.

My Results

In a word, happy. Extremely happy. My biggest issue with my arms was when I had my arms down at my sides they wouldnt be straight. Some of you know what I’m talking about. You NEVER look good in tank tops, spaghetti straps, or tubes because your arms make a giant curve at your sides! And when I would raise my arms, the flab would droop and dangle, which was unbearably annoying and embarrassing. I absolutely loathed my arms.

I had a previous arm surgery 5 years before but that doctor (a NY one to boot) couldnt get rid of the bulge at the top part of my arms. So I begged Doctor Yang and repeatedly told him my problem and he took care of my arm. I’m a bit more muscular than most women so unless I become pencil skinny they will never be completely thin. But I’m fine with it because I like having boobs and looking good in a bikini.

I had my arms wrapped with bandages for about 2 weeks but it was during summer so I took them off earlier. But the bruises were gone in about 10 days. The swelling came down a week later. I tried on every piece of tank tops and spaghetti strap tops I bought and never wore and I looked great. Every single day. I was looking forward to each day for this reason.

So after seeing the results, I got greedy. I wanted to get my thighs done. Looking back, I probably couldve exercised a bit harder and longer to get rid of them but experiencing the results myself made it almost impossible for me to choose the time-consuming route. So after about two months I decided to go for the surgery in October. Two weeks after my thigh surgery, my love handles. This is how quick my recovery was: the two weeks after my thigh surgery (and one week before my love handle surgery), my company had an outing in which I played kickball and I had no trouble running the bases. I was a bit swollen but all in all, my thighs recovered pretty well.

I am extremely happy with results. And if I have any problems, I always call them and they will help in any way they can.

Maintaining the Results

After these two surgeries, I was exhausted physically and mentally (surgeries are no cake walk) and slacked off on my diet and exercise. And of course, I gained weight. Fortunately, I didn’t gain back much on the places where I had my surgery. BUT be aware, you might gain weight in OTHER areas.

So I started working out really hard, running 4-5 miles a day during weekdays and added circuit training a couple of times a week. For 6 months. My surgery areas lost the fat faster than other areas. I visited N-Slim to see the result in numbers. And guess what? NO CHANGE. AT ALL. I was extremely angry and emotional because after all my hard work, I didn’t lose any weight at all. Ms. Candy was there to comfort me and help me. Not just in words. I was able to visit N-Slim to get treatments for carboxy which would enhance my workout results and if needed, get prescriptions for appetite suppressant pills. My goal was to wear a bikini during my summer vacation in Portugal and Spain, where bikinis are a requirement on the beach. Thanks to their after-surgery service and moral support (Ms. Lemontree was a huge support for me), I finally did!

Now I’m working to get a flatter tummy and with N-Slim’s help I know I’ll get there sooner than later. Thank you to Doctor Yang, and the whole staff at N-Slim.
